Introductions are hard
So here we are our first comic. I had to resize it because it was huge, hopefully that doesn’t detract from the quality.
A note from the Staff.
by Sonata Xero on Dec.22, 2009, under General News
Recently, as I’m sure you all have noticed, we here at Visionary Nexus have been incredibly lax in our posting of new content, as evidenced by the few posts in the recent months. I’d like to take this chance to apologize for our inability to get new posts up for our readers. While no excuse really justifies this lack of activity, do know that we tried our hardest to get new articles up for the last few months, however certain circumstances have made that impossible. Be it lack of free time, lack of a topic, personal issues, or other matters, we simply could not get the old machine working for a while.
With that in mind, I would like to announce that the staff is FINALLY getting back to work and will be posting articles once more! So no more logging on to the VN Blog and seeing nothing new, as I assure you that productivity will definitely see an increase.
I would also like to take this chance to note that there have been some staffing changes, as Blade Kiro is longer with the Visionary Nexus team. We are sad to see him go, but understand and respect his choice to depart. As such, Demi has been, in a unanimous vote, promoted to Administrator on both the forums and the blog. We all are very excited to see his work, as he is a skilled artist, a competent writer, and a great YouYube contributor with various Let’s Plays.
So in short, we’re back, we’re different, and we’re better than ever! (continue reading…)
Cards, Explosions, and Lolis-Touhou 12.3
by Demi on Sep.24, 2009, under General News
Greetings readers, I finally appear at last. Words echo throughout the forums of a Lord of Cards with the power to destroy and create the universe tucked away in a series of cardboard rectangles. This great figure happens to be me, Demi! Enough formalities; let’s get onto the article.

I'm so excited for my new job
Black Rock Shooter Pierces Anime Heaven!
by Cloud on Aug.24, 2009, under General News
You know, I never really got into the whole vocaloid craze. I mean, it’s cool and all, but I never bothered to get all diehard about it like some people, and make my own vocaloid videos, or get into the whole character fandom or anything. I merely just enjoyed listening to the fruit of other people’s vocaloid work. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy hearing the last part of Dancing Mad remixed in a Hatsune Miku voice?
However, one day, I ran into BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER. I was pretty hooked, and I still listen to the song quite a bit. The video is pretty awesome as well, and I always liked that interpretation of Hatsune Miku the most. Basically, it almost got me to become a vocaloidtard. Almost. (continue reading…)
I’m Actually Tsundere for Needless, Guys
by Cloud on Aug.13, 2009, under General News
It’s been a while since the last Needless post, and I’m sure you all missed that just as much as I missed watching the series. I just finished both episode 5 and 6, but I won’t do my usual thing with this post. Instead, I want to take a deeper (not really) look into the series as a whole so far, and try to figure out why I keep watching it.
You might just say, “well why don’t you just drop it?” Well, I tell myself that’s probably gonna happen before I decide to watch an episode. I did it before I watched 5 and 6, telling myself, “Yeah, these episodes are probably gonna be so bad that I’ll drop the series after I watch them, most definitely.” Hasn’t happened. I’m still gonna watch episode 7.
I have no idea why this keeps happening. Aside from a character or two, I almost like nothing about this series, and I could be using the time I sit around watching and writing to do something more productive (like watch Bakemonogatari, or play Wild ARMs 5, dammit) yet I keep watching Needless. This bothers me. Am I some sort of masochist? Or am I just really tsundere for this show? Let’s get down to it. (continue reading…)
