Fourth episode of Needless. Sucks to say, there’s still about 9 more to go. However, episode 4 actually proved to have a great deal of entertainment compared to the others since it focused on character development more than the others have. There was petty much no real action worth mentioning, but the story did progress a bit in a way that they should’ve gone with in episode 3 originally. Let’s get down to it now, shall we?! I only just now noticed the drill in this picture because of this episode.

Okay, I know last time I didn’t give a large summary of what happened, because Ep 1 was just pretty much character introduction with some shoddy fighting, so it didn’t really need it, but for this episode I’m going to. Deal with it. However, in the event you either don’t care what happened, or you’ve already seen it, just skip to my thoughts right now.

So, once again, back to Needless. And now I’m really not sure what to think of this series. However, I will say that Episode 2 is quite the improvement over Episode 1, as things actually get interesting and there’s… drills. The show is making it very hard for me to not compare to Gurren Lagann constantly. That being said, let’s move on to our summary. (continue reading…)

Please keep in mind, this is just episode 1, and I’m trying to be as lenient as possible on this show. But I can only be so nice. Somehow, I highly doubt my opinion on the show is going to change a whole lot any time soon, but you never really know.

I’ve been hearing quite a bit lately about this show, and how it’d be the next Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and whatnot. TTGL is one of my favorite shows, so I figured I’d check it out. I always watch the OP and ED of a show before I begin downloading; that’s just how I roll. So, here’s a run-down of my thoughts as I watched them. (continue reading…)
